01What we can answer
- Corrections. If something here is factually wrong, tell us specifically what and we will fix the page.
- Questions about what we have published. Terminology, what a technique does, which page covers a topic.
- Suggestions for coverage. If there is a question you could not find answered anywhere, that is useful to know.
- Press and syndication. Requests to quote or reference our material.
02What we cannot answer
- Whether you need surgery. We have not examined you and we are not a clinic.
- Which surgeon or clinic to use. We recommend none, by policy, and the handful of businesses named anywhere on this site are named as examples with a disclosure attached.
- What you should pay. The ranges on the cost page are market ranges, not quotations.
- Anything about a procedure you have already had. Contact the team who treated you.
- Urgent clinical questions. If something is wrong after surgery, contact your surgical team or, in an emergency, the emergency services.
03How we respond
Everything is read. Corrections are answered first and acted on before anything else in the inbox. General questions receive one reply. We do not add correspondents to a mailing list, we do not follow up unprompted, and we do not pass your message to anyone unless you have specifically used the enquiry form and asked us to.
